F.A.Q.

The following is some of the questions I receive about my cootie catchers:

*Q: How much does it cost to design and print 100 catchers?
*A: Unfortunately I am not set up at this time to print cootie catchers on a commercial scale. I do not have the stock or supplies needed to provide this service. I am however looking into this option and will hopefully be able to offer this service in the near future.

I am able to create a completely beautiful custom designed cootie catcher for you with unlimited revisions (a revision is an edit, not a complete redesign). I then email you your beautiful catcher in a pdf file for you to print how ever many times you like.

*Q: Why would I want to print these myself?
*A: For a few super awesome reasons:
- absolutely no shipping costs
- absolutely no waiting for the postal service to deliver a package
- absolutely unlimited quantity
- absolutely no overhead. You aren't paying for my ink and my paper stock, and because of that you save more money by providing your own materials.
- 100% control over colour. Print your first draft at home and if it isn't the colour you are looking for let me know and we'll keep working to match your sample. Differences in monitors and printers can lead to disappointment when colours don't match perfectly.
- 100% control over paper. You are able to go to the store and pick exactly what you are looking for, instead of depending on online pictures and descriptions.

*Q: Are they hard to fold?
*A: Absolutely not! Check out my easy to follow instructions here.

*Q: Are you sure you can't print them for me?
*A: I am sure.

*Q: My wedding is on (insert date) can you get these done for me with enough time to print and fold them?
*A: The short answer is YES! If you need your catchers by a certain date in the very near future I will do everything in my power to get your design to you ASAP, but in return I need you to check your email often and respond to my questions in a timely manner.

*Q: I'm not in a rush, how long will it take you to complete my design?
*A: Once I receive your Order Checklist I can have a draft ready for you to view in 24 - 48 hours. From that point we usually go back and forth a few times, making changes along the way, until you are completely happy with the design. From start to finish the process usually takes about 1 week. And again, this is dependent on the quickness of your replies.

*Q: I love these! But I don't know what I want inside...can you help me?
*A: YES! Some of my favourite designs have started as completely blank slates. We can work together to figure out your needs and what it is that you're looking for. Don't be shy, send me an email {darlinggirlpaper [!at] gmail.com} and we'll get started!

*Q: My son's birthday is coming up, can we do a design for a birthday instead of a wedding?
*A: Of course! I love doing new designs and am totally open to doing designs for birthdays, baby showers, anniversary parties, bar mitvahs, etc...just send me an email {darlinggirlpaper [!at] gmail.com} and we can get talking about what it is you're looking for.

*Q: Can I get more than one set of questions so my guests can learn more about me and my husband?
*A: Definitely! I currently offer up to 5 Sets of Questions, but if you're looking for even more just convo me  or email me {darlinggirlpaper [!at] gmail.com}and I'll set up a Custom Listing for you.

*Q: Do you need any special paper / What kind of paper do you recommend?
*A: No, you do not need any special paper. Plenty of my brides use plain old regular computer paper, which really brings out the colour in the designs (that's what it's made for!). If you're looking for something a little more special you can pick up textured paper at most office supply stores. Don't feel restricted to sticking to white either. Ivory paper can give cootie catchers a whole new dimension and work really well if you're going for a vintage feel. You can also go with a coloured paper to help these guys *pop*! I would caution that you stay away from anything too thick, like cardstock. It will just make it a nightmare to cut and fold.

*Q: Ok, I'm ready...what do I do now?
*A: Head on over to my shop and browse the different styles that I offer. When you find one that you like purchase the listing. If you don't see anything that fits what you're looking for just convo me and I'll set up a custom listing for you. In order to streamline the process and get your design to you faster have your Completed Order Checklist handy and include it in the 'message to seller' section or email it to me directly at {darlinggirlpaper [!at] gmail.com}

*Q: Can you start a design for me and I'll pay you later?
*A: No, unfortunately I cannot start designing until payment is complete. In order to protect myself and my other clients I must insist that payment is complete and e-cheques have cleared before starting your design.

*Q: Do you accept any payment other than PayPal?
*A: At this time no, I only accept PayPal as a method of payment.
